Solomon Islands’ teachers lost trust in Government

Radio Australia International announced the decision made by the President of the Solomon Islands Teachers Union Sampson Faisi for the teachers to remain on strike protest because the government is unstable and hard to trust anymore.

The government failed to keep their promise of paying back teachers as they agreed to do last year and again in February this year.

The teachers have walked out of classrooms after knowing that the government again failed to keep their promise. They have no trust in government at all.

Alas the government pointed out to different things and blame others as they attempt to keep the teachers in classrooms but the teachers refused to listen to the government. They need to see the payback payment first.
