Mako Vunipolaʻs outstanding scrummage and ball skills around every parts of the field had attracted former Irish rugby union and the current boss of Saracens Mark McCall to nominate him as one of the forefront contender for the British and Irish Lions 2013.

Mr McCall believes that the British and Irish coach, the New Zealand born, Warren Gatland should definitely consider Mako Vunipola for the Lions 2013. He believes Mako is the one with the X-Factors.

After Vunipolaʻs featuring in the autumn internationals and all of England Six Nations fixtures, he has then marked his capabilities as one of the best prop in the market.

Vunipola has played against those current competitive props around the country and he was right up there with those whose consider being the best.  He matched them up very well and sometimes above them.  So he should be considered seriously for the British and Irish Lions 2013.
